The National Framework for Air Quality Management in Republic of South Africa requires the National Air Quality Officers

to compile an annual report, known as the National Air Quality Officer’s Report (NAQO report).

The report is made up of inputs from provincial air quality officers, and provides progress relating to the implementation

of the National Environmental Management: Air Quality Act (Act No. 39 of 2004) and its National Framework.
